Program 11
14 Days / 13 Nights

 

Day 1

Arrive Beijing International Airport
Pick you up at Beijing International Airport to hotel. Then transferred to the hotel.
Free in the afternoon. Lunch and dinner on own

Day 2

Beijing(BLD)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Tian’anmen Square & Forbidden City in
the morning. In the afternoon excursion to the Great Wall with lunch en
route. Return to Beijing and enjoy the welcome banquet in the evening

Day 3

Beijing-Xining by air(BLD)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel and transfer to
the airport for departure flight to Xining (flying 2 hours 10 minutes)
Upon arrival,transferred to Yinlong (Silver Dragon) Hotel (5 star, Deluxe) followed by a city tour of Xining
Visit Dongguan Mosque on the way to Ta’er monastery.
Visit Ta’er monastery.

Day 4

Xining(BLD)
After buffet Breakfast at the hotel, go to visit Qutan Temple by bus.
After lunch, travel to Tu Ethnic Autonomy County and visit local community and families and watch their religion performance and enjoying their folk shows. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Xining.

Day 5

Qinghai lake and Tibet Express (BLD)
Visit the museum and Sun and Moon Hill after breakfast.
Go to visit the Qinghai lake in the afternoon.
Visit the local Tibetan house, chat to the locals.
Back to Xinning the later afternoon.
Embark the “Tibet Express” after dinner and start the expedition on Holy Roll, The Scenery Sight Viewing Stop at Kunlum Mountain.

Day 6

Arrive Lhasa(BLD)
The Scenery Sight viewing Stop at Headstream of Yangtze River of Kekexili.
The Scenery Sight Viewing Stop at Nachu Or Damshung, Northern Tibet.
Arrive Lhasa in the Evening.
Check in at Lhasa Hotel(former name is Lhasa Holiday Inn).
Relax in the hotel to acclimate the altitude.

Day 7

Lhasa(BLD)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Morning visit at Potala Palace. Lunch at the hotel then visit the Drepung
Monastery and Norbuglinkha
Dinner out and enjoy the Tibet Culture Dance Show

Day 8

Lhasa (BLD)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Morning visit at the Jokhang (Dazao) Monastery. Afternoon visit at Sera
Monastery and trolling and shopping along the Barkhor Street.
Lunch and dinner at a local Chinese & Western restaurant

Day 9

Lhasa (BLD)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Morning visit at a Tibet Hospital.
Afternoon visit at the local community and family house, chats with local Tibetans. Lunch at hotel
Dinner at a local western restaurant

Day 10

Lhasa-Chengdu by air (BLD)
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Gongar Airport (1 hour and 45
minutes drive).
Take the morning flight to Chengdu (flying 1 hour 50 minutes).
Transfer and Check in at the Sheraton Hotel. Afternoon excursion at Dujiangyan. To visit the ancient Dam and Water Control System. Lunch and dinner of local cuisine

Day 11

Chengdu (BLD)
Full-board buffet Breakfast at the hotel
Morning excursion to Myth of Sanxingdui Triple Piles Museum. Afternoon
visit Panda
National Bleeding Base, Local Tea House, Pavilion of River View Garden.
Lunch & dinner at local restaurants Overnight in Chengdu

Day 12

Chengdu-Shanghai by air(BLD)
Take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to the Bund and Yu
Garden for sightseeing.
Accommodation at Salver Hotel-5 star, best downtown location.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants

Day 13

Shanghai (BLD)
Visit People Square & Shanghai Museum with lunch en route
Afternoon free at leisure for own exploration.
Free in the afternoon

Day 14

Shanghai Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel
Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for flight homeward.

  • All transportation: bus with air-conditioning, domestic flights. And Lhasa Express.

Note:

  • There’re only evening train from Xining to Lhasa, so we arrange the excursion to Qinghai lake for you on D05. The train leaves at 20:00 and arrive at Lhasa at 22:00 in the next evening.
  • Your suggesting plan on D09 is to visit the local school. But to be honest, it’s difficult for foreigner tourists to visit the local school. But we will try our best to arrange the visit in the winter time.
  • The hotels we arrange for you are the one you required. But you didn’t mention your requirement for hotel in Beijing. So we arrange the 5star hotel for you. You mentioned to the Lhasa Holiday Inn, and its name has changed into Lhasa Hotel. We arrange this hotel for you as you required.
  • The price includes the soft-sleeper on the train from Xining to Lhasa. But it’s a little bit difficult to book. We could offer you the quotation for hard-sleeper as well, if you like.

The quotation is valid in winter time, new year’s day, X’mas. But not valid in Chinese Spring Festival.
