Morocco - Program 4

Welcome the group at Mohamed V Casablanca airport, first stage of the voyage. A professional guide and air-conditioned transport awaits there.
City tour of the second larger city of Africa. Continuation to Rabat.
Transfer to the Hotel.  Diner and overnight in Rabat.

After the breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace, (outside part), the Hassan tower, one of the reference marks of this city, the Kasbah of Oudaya and the mausoleum with the tombs of the kings Mohammed V and Hassan II.
Departure to Meknes. Very hug Walls surround the city marked by the reign of powerful Sultan Moulay Ismail. You will visit the most monumental doors of Morocco, Bab El Mansour, the tomb of Moulay Ismail, the horse stables of and mills of cereals, as well as the Souks.
Continuation to Fez.
Diner and overnight in Fez.

After the breakfast, visit of Fez. The town of Fez remains until today the religious and the cultural center of the country. It is the certificate of Andalusian art with more than 400 mosque, Medersa and other buildings.
3 Districts of various times mark the image of Fez. The city is a labyrinth of small streets. You go back in the time in the Middle Ages. During the visit, you are going to see the Zaouia (Mausoleum) of Moulay Idriss, the Kairaouine mosque, one of the oldest mosque and school of the Arab world, Medersa bouanania, the Koranic school and and its large blue door.

After the breakfast, your voyage will take the southern direction, you will leave through the plane of Saïs, you will see various and different landscapes, cereal fields, fruit gardens
before reaching the Atlas Mountains.
You will continue to Ifrane, a city with a ski resort during the winter. After that, you continue through the mountains, you will cross a sector marked by the fruit plantations, the fields and the forests until Khénifra.
After Khénifra, you will leave on a plate which is crossed by the river Oum Er Rbia, and by the agricultural center of the plane of Tadla before reaching Marrakech.

After the breakfast, you will visit the city of Marrakech, the palm plantation which is located in the mountains of the high Atlas, as well as an oasis at the limits of the desert.
Nowhere else can man have an African and Eastern feeling at the same time. The animated Souks, the palmeraie and the red constructions give a special charm to Marrakech.
You will visit the Koutoubia mosque, a “chef d’œuvre” of a hispano-Moorish architecture, the gardens of Ménara, the Sâadien tombs, the Bahia Palace, Bab Agnaou, the oldest gate of the Médina, the souks, as well as famous Place Djemaa-el-Fna
Diner and overnight in Marrakech.

In the morning, departure to Beni Mellal through the village of Azrou in the heart of the Middle atlas Mountains. Stop in Beni Mellal, situated at 625 meters high. Drive across the Tadla plain to reach Marrakech.

After breakfast, departure to Essaouira. Arrival and visit of the city with it’s white houses with two floors and doors painted in green and blue with decorated with a star looks like the Portuguese houses with an hispano-Moorish style. Many doors, courses and arcades in the old city support this impression.

After breakfast, continuation to Casablanca. On this last day, we discover the largest city in Morocco and its economical capital. The Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world, remains nowadays as the best example of blend of the different architectural styles existing in the kingdom of Morocco.
