Combination of Lodges and budget camping

Day 1

Pick up from the Hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire. Game drive at the Park (with Picnic lunch), after lunch more game drive in the Park to SUNSET, Dinner and overnight Tarangire Sopa Lodge/campsite.

Day 2

Full day game viewing in the park; this national park is home to thousands of elephant, and in the dry season game congregates along the river having migrated from the Masai Mara. This park is symbolized by the Baobab tree, growing in open acacia woodland. Tarangire is an ornithologist’s paradise rich in birds of prey and an incredible diversity of avifauna. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge /Wilderness Campsite.

Day 3

To avoid driving too long drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for culture tour; visit the village of Nainokanoka and enjoy short walks with Maasai people. Return to the Sopa Lodge/campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Short ride to the village of Nainokanoka, meet the ranger/guide and start hiking to the crater. Hike up the side of Olmoti Crater and to the top of crater waterfall. Descend into the Olmoti Crater floor and pursue game viewing on foot. Picnic lunch at the waterfall, hike back to the Nainokanoka Maasai Village, meet the driver and drive back to the lodge/campsite.
Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge/campsite.

Day 5

After breakfast embark to the Ngorongoro Crater, with packed lunch, for a half day game
drive. Return to the lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge/campsite .

Day 6

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, with game drive in the southern part of Ngorongoro (around Lake Lagaja) before heading to Seronera in the heart of Serengeti National Park, accommodation at Seronera Wildlife Lodge/ Campsite

Day 7

Full day from Seronera Valleys to Ndoha Plain up to Moru Kopjes; late afternoon return to the Seronera Lodge/campsite .

Day 8

Full day Game drive in Serengeti (sunrise and sunset game drive) park, the game will include a visit to a hippo pool and Grumeti River. Enjoy watching the migration. Diner and overnight at the Seronera Lodge/Campsite.

Day 9

Another full day game drive in Serengeti, today heading to north Togora Plain with picnic lunch in the bus; dinner and overnight at Lobo Lodge /campsite in Serengeti.

Day 10

Spend another day exploring the area around Lobo Lodge up to Yangugu and Ikorongo Game Controlled Area; dinner and overnight at Lobo Lodge/campsite in Serengeti.

Day 11

After Breakfast at Lobo Lodge, transfer to Lake Natron/Oldoinyo Lengai via Loliondo Game Controlled Area. En route game viewing; dinner and overnight at Kamakia Campsite (No Lodge available here as yet)

Day 12

The lake is the only breeding place for the 2.5 million Lesser Flamingos that live in the valley. As an option, hiking the Ngare Sero Gorge to the waterfalls or other gorges in the area; Dinner and Overnight at the Kamakia campsite near Ol doinyo Lengai (only camping possible).

Day 13

Morning drive to Lake Manyara for half day game drives till 17:00 with picnic lunch under the tree; and then drives to Migunga Tented Camp/campsite for Dinner and overnight.

Day 14

Morning game drives in the park till lunch time. After lunch drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Arusha Crown Hotel .

Programs includes:

  • full board accommodation in luxury tented camps or lodges where applicable.
  • safari activities as mentioned above, local, driver/guide fluent in English language.
  • transport within the park (in some cases game viewing in open car).
  • park fees, free pickup/drop off services from and to the airport and bottled.
  • water during the safari, as well as internal flights (Dar – Kilimanjaro; Seronera – Arusha; Kilimanjaro – Zanzibar).

Price exclude: 

  1. Int. flight and any other local shuttle service outside safari schedule beverages.
  2. items of personal nature (unless offered by the hotel).
  3. gratuities/tip to driver/guide (highly recommended) and travel insurance .
