4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

 

Day 1

Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel. Early check-in is not guaranteed. At noon depart for Egyptian Spice Market, which is filled with the fragrances of the exotic East since the 1660s. Spices, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, lokum (Turkish Delight) and other edibles fill most of the shops in Istanbul’s Misir Carsisi, along with jewelry and souvenirs. Later embark on the Bosphorus Cruise, through the magnificient waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residentials and luxurious apartments.

Day 2

Full day Istanbul sightseeing including Topkapi Palace, Imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc…Treasury and Harem sections are not included in the program and are due to extra entry , Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet, Hippodrome, center of sportive (chariot races, athletics) events and political activities of the old city. Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating Hippodrome., St Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian, and Grand Bazaar, the most attractive shopping center and biggest “souk” in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenirs., with lunch.

Day 3

Free at leisure or take one of the optional tours.

Day 4

Free till departure transfer to the airport for the flight back home.

  • Return airport transfers on SIC basis.
  • 1 Full Day tour on SIC basis as per itinerary.

Exclusions:

  • Flights.
  • Drinks at meals.
  • Personal expenses such as phonecalls, minibar, laundry etc.
  • Tips to driver and the guide.

Important notes:

  • The rates may vary during the International events such as Formula 1, congresses etc.
  • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday.
  • Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Spice Bazaar are closed on Sunday.
  • St Sophia is closed on Monday.
  • Veg and Non Veg clients will be accommodated at meals during full day tours.

  • The child reduction is applicable for a child sharing the rooms with two adults.
